Announced by Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo at the AI Malaysia Takeover 2026, this initiative aims to democratize access to artificial intelligence tools and digital skills training for the public.

Designed to bridge the digital skills gap, Rakyat Digital consolidates several key educational initiatives into one streamlined portal. The platform introduces a comprehensive Digital Literacy Hub alongside an interactive hybrid "AI Builders Hub." This specific feature allows users to move beyond theoretical learning, providing a space to actively experiment and develop practical AI applications.
Furthermore, the portal serves as a massive educational gateway, granting users access to over 16,000 professional certifications and classes through an integration with Coursera.

To accelerate AI adoption among the younger demographic, the government is initiating a massive rollout of complimentary resources. Beginning August 31, up to 100,000 Malaysians aged 18 to 30 will be eligible to claim three months of free access to a curated selection of premium AI tools.
